I never pictured myself the girly type who would grow up to be doing hair for a living; pretty sure my mom still sees that little tomboy in me when she is sitting in my chair getting her hair done. Thanks to my three older brothers for letting me experiment countless times on them- little did they know how supportive they were to me. I did my training down in Seattle at Shoreline Academy of Hair and from there went to do advanced training at Gary.Manuel Salon in Belltown. After three years in Seattle, I decided to make my big city experience back home to Whatcom County where I dedicated myself to a salon in Lynden for six years. I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to be doing something I love for a living. Each day I crave the creativity, the challenges, and the different styles that make us all unique in our own ways. There is nothing more rewarding to me than being able to make someone feel great about themselves from the outside in.
